Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. You are received and welcomed by our representative at the airport & Transfer to hotel. He will present you the travel documents Rest of the day free for independent activities.
Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing
New Delhi:designed and built by the British in the 1920's it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. First you will visit two monuments from Delhi's past Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Then your drive takes you along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House.
Old Delhi: an ancient walled city. Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughul Empire; Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city.
Day 3: Delhi To Jaipur (250 Kms. /4-5 Hours)
Drive to Jaipur, Check in the hotel. Evening enjoy the dinner at Chokhi Dhani (An ethnic village) where you also enjoy Rajasthani dinner in traditional style.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, situated outside the walled city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajput forts. You can have the unique experience of riding on elephant back to the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including, City Palace in the heart of Jaipur known for its blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork. Another monument near the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five astronomical observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh-I, the founder ruler of Jaipur. Stop at Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds, a seven storied facade and one of the most picturesque landmarks constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen.
Day 5: Jaipur To Agra Via Fatehpur Sikri. (250 Kms. /5-6 Hours) (Taj Mahal Is Closed On Friday)
Drive to Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - built in Red Sandstone in honor of Saint Salim Chisti, who foretold the birth of 3 sons to emperor Akbar, an example of robust stability combined with originality each important edifice here represents a type by itself. Notable among them is the Diwane Khas, Punch Mahal, The Tomb of Salim Chisti, and the Buland Darwaza, after visit continue drive to Agra and check into hotel. Visit Taj Mahal again, then visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis. The Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula's is located in a walled garden overlooking the Yamuna.
Day 6: Agra To Haridwar By Train. (450 Kms. /8-9 Hours)
(Train Departure at 1055 & Arrive Haridwar at 2030) Transfer to Agra Cantt railway station for Train to Haridwar. Arrive Haridwar railway station & transfer to hotel.
Day 7: Haridwar Sightseeing
Haridwar is considered as one of the holiest Hindu pilgrim centers in India. The main attractions at Haridwar are the Ganga Ghats, temples and Ashrams. Haridwar is considered very holy, due to the fact that Ganga enter plains from mountains here itself. Visit Temples : Chandi Devi, The temple of Chandi Devi is set atop the Neel Parvat. The modern temple was constructed by Suchat Singh, ruler of Kashmir, in 1929 AD. The temple is a 3 km trek from Chandi Ghat. It is believed that the main statue was established by the Adi Sankaracharya in 8th Century AD. Chandi Devi Temple is also accessible by a ropeway, which starts near Gauri Shankar Temple. Maya Devi Temple, The temple is said to be at the site of the place where heart and navel of Sati fell. The temple is amongst one of the Shaktipeeths in India. Haridwar Temples, Haridwar, the temple city, houses uncountable number of temples. The temples of Haridwar are of high religious importance, as Haridwar is amongst the most sacred cities of India. As per myths, Haridwar has been visited by Gods and Goddesses as a part of performing penances.
Day 8: Haridwar To Rishikesh (30 Kms. /Half Or 01 Hours)
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh: Rishikesh, the gateway to Himalayas, is considered as the Mecca for Yoga and Meditation centers. Rishikesh nestled in the Tehri-Garhwal region of Uttaranchal abounds in natural splendor. The spectacle of the Ganga rushing through the Himalayan foothills is an awesome sight. Several temples dot the banks of the Ganga at Rishikesh. Lakshman Jhula, The Bridge has been a major attraction among the tourists to Rishikesh. The suspension iron bridge Lakshman Jhula was built in 1929. This is where Rama's brother Lakshman is said to have crossed the river on jute ropes. Ram Jhula, Another suspended bridge close to Lakshman Juhla is the Ram Jhula- This suspended bridge was recently built between Shivanand Ashram and Sawarg Ashram. It is similar to the Lakshman Jhula. Raghunath Mandir and Triveni Ghat, It is the most important places for religious ceremonies in Rishikesh. It is believed that the Ganga is joined here by the Yamuna and the Saraswati Rivers. Situated just across the Lakshman Jhula. Bharat Mandir, It is the oldest temple in Rishikesh.
Day 9: Rishikesh To Delhi & Departure (250 Kms. /5-6 Hours)
(Drive to Delhi & you will be transferred to the International Airport.
