Day 1: Trivandrum
Arrive at Trivandrum by Train/Flight, You are received and welcomed by our representative & Transfer to hotel at Kovalom . He will handover you your travel documents. Rest of the day free at Kovalam for beach activities. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach of Kerala, with three adjacent crescent beaches. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful Bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse - sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programs, Catamaran cruising etc. Evening enjoy the beach.
Day 2: Kovalom - Kanyakumari - Kovalom
Morning excursion to Kanyakumari for a day return, Padnabhapuram palace, Suchidram. Night stay in Kovalam.
Day 3: Kovalom - Alleppey
Drive to Alleppey, on arrival transfer to your floating houseboat, a different boat with a bedroom and en-suite rest room for your comfort. Enjoy unlimited surfing on backwaters, sip a coconut, get disturbed by only the chirping of birds and occasional ripples in water and savor mouthwatering delicacies prepared in front of you by your Kitchen crew. Spend the night on board the houseboat. Enjoy a cruise on the backwater through a maze of canals and lagoons and enjoy freshly caught fresh water fish cooked to your taste on board.
Day 4: Alleppey - Kumarakom
Move from house boat at Kumarakom, one of the most beautiful area of kerala. Up on arrival transfer to hotel. In the evening a boat ride on the back waters of kerala discovering various villages and the life of the locals. Transfer to the backwater resort. Rest of the day free at leisure. The panoramic backwaters here offer an ideal retreat to enjoy nature at its best.
Day 5: Kumarakom
Morning visit to the nearby bird sanctuary. Afternoon free at leisure Mangrove Forests, Paddy Fields, and Coconut Groves networked by a maze of waterways and canals adorned with waterlillies, make Kumarakam an unbelievably beautiful natural paradise. Also optional boat ride to the nearby village through the lagoons.
Day 6: Kumarakom - Thekkady
Morning drive to the tekkady. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening boat ride on lake Periyar.
Day 7: Thekkady
Morning, guided trek in the forest and visit Periyar Tiger Reserve. Trekking with a local guide familiarizes you to the rare birds, trees & flowers. You can even set upon a walk through the plantations filled with the heady fragrance of fresh spice. A boat safari on the Periyar Lake extends a lifetime's chance to spot exotic wildlife in its natural habitat. Like the eccentric bathing habits of the wild elephants that come down to the lake. Evening boat ride in the lake Periyar.
Day 8: Thekkady- Munnar
Morning drive to Munnar. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon sightseeing of Munnar and top station Rajmalai, Eravikulam National park etc.
Day 9: Munnar
Day free at leisure. Munnar has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi - which towers over 2695m. An assortment of wild life such as the Nilgiri Thar, Nilgiri Langur, Sambhar, Gaur and the lion tailed Macaque are found in the rich tropical forests around. Devikulam - This serene hill township is a nature lover's retreat. Trout fishing on the Devikulam lake is a major attraction. Eravikulam National park - It is the best place to see Nilgiri Thar, the mountain goat of South India. Optional paragliding and trekking. Night stay in Munnar.
Day 10: Munnar - Cochin
Morning drive to Cochin. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon free at hotel/ Shopping at Ernakulam.
Day 11: Cochin
Morning sightseeing of Cochin covering The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica, originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Finally, the Willingdon Island, named after Lord Willingdon, is the headquarters of the Southern Naval Command of India.
Day 12: Cochin
This day you will be transferred to the airport, 3 hours before boarding flight for your onwards journey.
